The concept
When I was on the Thames the other day with my son in my canoe that I finished building seven months ago, I saw a cedar planked boat that the owner had imported ready-made from Canada. I didnt enquire as to the cost, but I knew I had to make one similar.
Thus was born the desire to make my own cedar strip canoe.
